hi, got a contract with t-mobile and in nov 05 they took out 222 pounds instead of 22 pounds [computer error they said] they claimed to have paid it back but havnt so sent them bank statments to prove this and they now admit that we havnt recived money back. But have they given us it back...no there trying to find out where the money went to ,which is not our problem we just want our money back, ive complained by letter no reponse and by email today also contacted trading standards is there anything else i can do? :mad:

    Did they tell you before-hand on your bill that they were going to take £222 and was it taken out by direct debit? If so, you can phone your bank, who will reverse the direct debit as they broke the direct debit guarantee, by taking the incorrect amount than what was stated on your bill. I did this recently as one of my direct debits went out of my bank, without my knowledge and my bank immediately refunded me the full amount.

    yes we did know before they took it out and went to barclays as it was a direct debit and barclays said they could do nothing as there was no set amount every month. it was just before christmas as well :mad:

    email them stating that they have 14 days to resolve things or you will raise a case in the small claims court.
