Warning about BT

I just thought i should warn people to be careful with BT as i have just conned. I joined Bt a year ago when i moved house i took out a 12 month contract on my phone and Broadband, i paid for my home hub as i did not want to be stuck to 18 month contract on broadband. My contracts are coming to an end so i decided to go to sky as they are much cheaper. I was told By BT that my Broadband ct is 18 months and therefor must renew my contract on my phoneline for another 12 months, or pay £50 to cut off my broaband. They will not even look into the matter, noone will help and there customer service is awful. So please be careful.

I'll take a look at this and see what the story is but it doesn't sound at all right that you had to pay for the router 18 month contract or not.
