A question for anyone who has gone to Gatwick by Train

Well I just did the national rail journey planner for 2 adults, 1 child (didn't realise 4 year old went free until someone mentioned it above) from Sydenham to Gatwick and it came up with £17.25.
Thanks for all the replies - you're putting my mind at ease.
If you buy at the station (same price) you might need to mention the magic words Groupsave to get that price - if they are on the ball you'll get it automatically but just in case0 -
Train all the time! You would be door to door in under 30mins, even if you did take the tram/cab to E.Croydon from your home.
Also cheap as chips. Your DC goes free and we always find more than enough room for our huge suitcases (2 Adults + 1 Child)DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0 -
l the train take the strain for that price, several trains from E.Croydon to Gatwick give youself plenty time and enjoy!0
