Pity I don't have friends close by for a garden clearing party, lots of booze, cake and food provided by me in return for them clearing it over a couple of days!

That isn't actually a bad idea - why don't you try family next time they are your way. Working in the garden to stoke up an appetite, and you feeding them continually.
Because the storm drains are poor, the garden is only useable after a really prolonged dry period. The water runs from the road higher than me, then through the half of my garden with stones on, then under the 'terrace' levels and then under and down my driveway and then down the hill.

If you dig up the middle (lets face it, you're not preserving a bowling green) and put a soakaway in, you'll dry your garden and save on sewerage fees from the water company. It does have to be big though.

sounds like a project for the boyf BB.... you can tell him you need his help and see how he reacts...

That's a brilliant way of getting fertiliser for the whole garden; suggest he puts some hard work in for BB and not himself, and watch him come out with a whole load of shit.
on the subject of blokes, Beanie was less than impressed with Big G over the weekend... he is a moody !!!!er and didn't endear himself to her... i half expected her to say, oh he's okay y'know, you're over reacting... but her opinion of him was pretty much based on the way he acted, spoke, and by his manner....

action will be taken but it's a matter of when, i've decided i deserve better and if i end up single for a good while then it's not the end of the world... in fact it could be a great thing!

    :grouphug: for you.

It's a shame when things aren't going well.

    I hate gardens.

I like gardens, but I'm useless at them. I need someone to come along and point at things and say: "Lives.", "Dies"...
