Well the scaffolding is up. The shop is like a black hole and there is just room for a very slim buggy under the scaffolding - no more. The stupid people have even built it around the pull down blind!
Just spoken to the lady from the employment agency a few doors up and she will help me with CV's etc and put me on her books. Not sure whether to go see her before I go away or after. She doesn't work on a Wednesday.
I really don't think I can take much more. It's all too overwhelming and everything I try to do just seems to backfire.
Picks up coat and leaves.
did you fill in the application form bookie?:A

Right, I've left a message with a potential club. Sorted out some banking, bought a telly
(hoping that Andy Murray wins wimbledon). I was going to get one for the bedroom anyway but cdiscount have an offer on where they'll credit your account with the full cost of the tv is murray wins. Although, I might just put it away for the kids for christmas.
Now I need to activate MS word on this laptop so I can copy and paste my letter to the consultant from the blog into this laptop so I can print it. Then I'll start digging around in the back of the main computer to get the hard drive out. Actually I might just go and kick fran to get him out of bed so he can do it.
I'm impressed, so far this morning I have got halfway to work, turned round and came home, got changed, rang in work and I am now on the sofa in the den eating toast and honey that DH made meToo much month, not enough Cash!

I think he has a reasonable chance this year so it's worth a punt. I could send it back if he loses under the distance selling regulations. But, I was going to get the kids a tv for their room for christmas, I will decide what I'm going to do with it in a week or so. Ordinarily I would have waited until he was in the final but I can imagine there will be none left by then as the hotukdeals lot are on to it. With quidco and their 10% off offer it works out cheaper than anywhere else.:A

Bookie - i don't have any really good practical advice to give, i can't even begin to understand how hard it is for you... but what i want to say is, please keep posting your thoughts, worries, anxieties on here, it'll help to brain dump onto here... and every now and then someone comes along with a great answer as well.....
don't feel you can't offload onto us, is kinda what i'm trying to say....I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
