morning.........sun is starting to really heat up already
All the windows and back door wide open. Luckily this house stays nice and cool for much of the day and when the sun goes across the house from about 4-7 I shut the curtains to keep it out as much as I can. nice breeze coming through at the moment, I'm on a sloping site on a hill quite high up so it can get very windy but today it's a nice breeze coming through.
Lou - not sure you'll see this but good luck for whatever happens today. Perhaps they will just call you in and do an informal interview as you're the only candidate.
I've got my teacher training class this afternoon and I am booked in to have my 'professional discussion' which is part of my assessment. I will be asked questions about the last 8 weeks of the course and how it has affected my teaching so fingers crossed I say all the right things."Stay Wonky":D

Morning All!
Was watching a very interesting program last night on iconography in Henry VIII's reign - which tied in nicely with my trip to Hampton Court on Saturday - shame I feel asleep and missed most of it - will have to iplayer this evening I think!
Its soooo hot here already - its totally mad, luckily my work's shower does a nice line in cold0 -
Good luck Lou and BB.
Well the scaffolding is up. The shop is like a black hole and there is just room for a very slim buggy under the scaffolding - no more. The stupid people have even built it around the pull down blind!
Just spoken to the lady from the employment agency a few doors up and she will help me with CV's etc and put me on her books. Not sure whether to go see her before I go away or after. She doesn't work on a Wednesday.
I really don't think I can take much more. It's all too overwhelming and everything I try to do just seems to backfire.

Bunny, sounds like you'll need a rest by the time you get to Canada
Well I'm off work today, rang in sick this morning. Feeling unwell and face is covered in spots, which DH kindly told him as I was showing him my face that one of the girls at work's daughter got chicken pox about a week and a half ago  I've never had them, so will see how they are by lunchtime and if I get anymore, maybe will get the doc to check them out, if no more appear I will hotfoot it back to work tomorrowToo much month, not enough Cash!

Bookie would it help you to make a 'one thing plan'??
I used a plan in the past where I've written down the goal I want and then broken that down into chunks of which one thing (and no more) can be done every day...it helps me to focus on medium to long term stuff without panicing...0 -
Nooooo I've run out of coffee at work *sobs into hands*0

Right, I've left a message with a potential club. Sorted out some banking, bought a telly
(hoping that Andy Murray wins wimbledon). I was going to get one for the bedroom anyway but cdiscount have an offer on where they'll credit your account with the full cost of the tv is murray wins. Although, I might just put it away for the kids for christmas.
Now I need to activate MS word on this laptop so I can copy and paste my letter to the consultant from the blog into this laptop so I can print it. Then I'll start digging around in the back of the main computer to get the hard drive out. Actually I might just go and kick fran to get him out of bed so he can do it.:A

I agree with becky - life can seem so over whelming at times and you feel you should be doing it all - now - or everything will fall apart. I like to take everything that is piling up and map it all out time wise and then discard stuff that really is in the future and concentrate on today and tomorrow. I then look at today and tomorrow and re-think whether it really does have to be done or can be moved by a couple of days.
