Well the woman called back, got the free dongle next day ( even though she called at 4pm) lol My contract was £35 a month which is now £27 . Free dongle with 3gb of access, dunno but might be worth people calling up and asking about it?Better to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot.0

Be very careful you will probably be signing a new contract and be tied in for at least a year, more likely 18 or 24 months.
It's also probably a 3rd party signing you up not vodafone themselves. You may want to call them via your handset and confirm they did the calling.0 -
Na no extra contract i asked all the questions, my contract iz up in january, its free unless i go over the 3gb which i wont ,Better to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot.0

Sounds a VERY poor deal to me.

You have 14 days to cancel that other contract (ie you are allowed to send the dongle back = cancel) I believe. When you phone them they'll match (at least) that advert to save you cancelling.
Have the figures ready to give them.0 -
I think the norm now is cca £15 for 3GB (bar 3's £15 for 15GB) with an USB stick (not a dongle). One off feee for a stick is £30 with Orange IIRC on 30-days contract, so poor deal IMO.
And factoring in cashback (could be as high as £100), you can get the overall price below £6 p/m for 12-18 months contract.0 -
Sorry i dont think ya follow me , I am a voda pay monthly customer, i am now 1 year into my contract of an 18 month one, my 18 month contract runs out jan/feb. So i am 3 months away from an upgrade, A lady from the upgrade/sales floor called me up and offered me this free dongle, and she would reduce my contract from 35 to 27 ? i asked her is she right and i asked her questions like are u going to extend my contract? she said no, i asked her will i pay anything for the dongle she said no? i said can i return it she said yes within 7 days, i just wanna no if anyone else got this? and am i the only person who finds this fishy? and should i contact vodafone about it?Better to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot.0
