jinky- it isn't I know compared to some, but she knows I hate clutter and she knows I've also fallen/walked into thin air down the stairs and nearly killed myself - new chrome elbow/nearly losing eye/broken ribs etc, so you'd think she'd try a bit harder. DH moved most of it from the landing, for that very reason. She's 19 for god's sake and should show some respect surely??

Sorry, I'm getting it out of all proportion arn't I? Will have serious words with myself. Sorry xx

    oh I am in shock

remember my mutttering about a different job and humming and ha-ing over whether to apply?

    I'VE BEEN SHORTLISTED FOR INTERVIEW:eek:
oooooooh valli honey thats fantastic news - I was going to ask you today what was happening!! When is it?
kdean hugs for you both - what a PITA - can payroll not sort it out without the manager? I see thats not possible - I hope you get it sorted next week - ask for an extra payment - its their fault - you shouldnt have to wait until next month.
jjef I wish I could do all the list but No I will be selective!!!
poorbutrich thast the way - keep plugging away with the babysteps and you will get there.
Jo awh that was nice for you.
SSl can we see the wedding cake pleeeeease??? Is it tomorrow?
embb ditto what greenbee said - you shouldnt do 1000 cals for more than a week then have at least 2/3 week break before doing it again - you should still be able to lose on 1200 cals - if you stay on 1000 too long you will lose muscle first and thats not good!!!
toochoosey I often have to phone my mobile with the house phone to find it:rolleyes:

and had a little chat with the nurse about her teeth (the dog's, not the nurse's):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. She needs some work but I'm a bit worried about the anaesthetic. I did find out that the nasty vet is on holiday later this month so I'll probably book to have it done then. He's good at what he does but he is sooooo rude.
Btw Toots, I'm glad your list is so long. It proves you're not trying to get it all done but pacing yourself, keep it up :)
thanks polly maybe the rest will think of it that way too - you are an angel!!!! Thats an incredible price rise - there are places online where you can get pet medicines -not anything dodgy - I dont know the websites but will try and find out if I can.
hello boddy hope Mum is enjoying the good weather - are you on a countdown yet - how many shifts to do? I am to get some reiki at MacMillan House and I thought of you!!
carlsberggal no wonder you are raging - yes reclaim the room and if you have to put a lock on it then do it - and I hope you dont do anything for her ( like washing and ironing) she should be doing her own things and keeping her room TIDY AND CLEAN - as for you 'wanting a new carpet anyway' that doesnt matter -give her a bottle of stardrops and get her to scrub it clean - you are not made of money - if the carpet needs to be replaced then perhaps you should consider billing her for it as she has ruined it! that might change her attitude a bit! Its yours and Dh's house so she needs to learn that she has to conform and live by the house rules and that doesnt include paint parties and carelessness.IMHO!!!!!! She will never cope with her own place if she cant keep a bedroom tidy and clean!

but jinky you have time to get her domesticated:rotfl::rotfl:
serena :eek: thats a lot of birthday ideas to find!!!

ok I am showered, dressed, breakfasted, medicated and have a half load of towels in the WM - just keeping things up to date as much as possible while the weather is good.
have one throw to do and that will be all the furnishings done - they are all being put away until after the decorating now.
kitchen has had a S&S - not by me!!!

    back later
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

very well done, would it involve a change of hours, location?

    when is interview?
    Monday 13th

I would be full time but school hours IYSWIM but no planning/preparation/assessment - as teachers will all know there is an awful lot of 'behind the scenes' stuff to do. Basically I am attempting to rejig my work/life balance...
The closing date was the 24th and I handed my form in personally that morning. Thought as I hadn't heard that was it; not least because interviews were scheduled, according to the advert, for THIS week.

    And it's closer, too.

kdean - can you ask you OH to at least email his line manager so that he has all the details first thing on Monday? And if he really can't bring himself to speak to the boss, can he do as SSL suggested and talk to HR/payroll to try to at least find out what has happened and why so that it can be corrected quickly. It's worth checking whether he is paid in advance or arrears - I'm paid 2 weeks in advance, 2 in arrears, so any changes to next month would have an impact in this month's pay
I think you could be right about that, overtime is paid completely differently and it is not clear in his contract but it does work out about right so I assume that is what they have done. It is not a very well run company and there are no unions or anything they tend to do whatever they want and muck him about all the time. I wish he could change jobs but printing is a dying trade and I suppose he is lucky to have a job at all.
