    Morning all

Soappie, it must have rained in the night here because it was wet this morning but all dry again now and the sun has just come out. Luckily it is a bit fresher. It's nice to have the curtains open.

One load of washing out on the line. I've vacuumed right through downstairs and prepared veggies for dinner. Went over to the vets to collect the dog's tablets (£14 dearer than last time!) and had a little chat with the nurse about her teeth (the dog's, not the nurse's). She needs some work but I'm a bit worried about the anaesthetic. I did find out that the nasty vet is on holiday later this month so I'll probably book to have it done then. He's good at what he does but he is sooooo rude.

DD1 came in earlier and put her photos from China on my computer, it looks an amazing place.

    Hope everyone's OK.

Btw Toots, I'm glad your list is so long. It proves you're not trying to get it all done but pacing yourself, keep it up :)

Morning ladies, have done sweet FA even though I’ve been up since 5.45 – DH starts early on Fridays but then finishes early as well.
Sexy – so sorry my love I sent bday wishes and good luck vibes to dusty!!! Am such a plonker!! Great news on your job WTG!!
Serena – how are you my love?
Jinky – the photos below you may not want to see as DD1 is 19 and I’m sure yours is younger!!!
Kazw – have a lovely day at the wedding
Penpen – have lovely time with friends this aft
Kdean – hope you get money sorted soon
Toots – rest if you’ve been up that early – that’s an order!!

Right on to a rant again I’m afraid – sorry ladies I know I’ve been a right pain this week and you’ve had to put up with it. This is the mess DD1 still has left , first picture is the landing, though some of the stuff had been moved before photo. The 2nd is the little bedroom where she’s put some of the stuff. She’s used the little bedroom as her own special ‘dressing room’ since DD2 went up the village to her dad’s. The 3rd picture is the carpet in the bedroom since she’s been using said room. The light bit is the colour it should be and the other is after DH and DD1’s boyfriend moved the wardrobe!! The colour is a combination of make-up/self tan/bronzer. I knew the carpet was bad, but blo%dy hell, it won’t hoover up either. All DD1 says is ‘well you wanted a new carpet in there anyway’! We are making her move all her stuff out of little room as we want to reclaim it as part study part bedroom and DH thinks we should put a lock on it so she can't go in and ruin it again. Going to get rid of bed and get a futon thingy so that DH daughter still has somewhere to sleep when she comes – though that’s not that often as she’s 13 and has her own social life and is always 'too busy' and lives 2 ½ hours away.

Many thanks to Jo – who told me how to do that!! x

Am dumbfounded by it all and after the weekend we had it’s like the last straw. I know in the scheme of things and all that, and all of you dealing with ‘real’ problems and issues it’s not much, but I feel like why should I bother
Sorry, rant over, I promise to be sweetness and light from now on – promise!! xx

    :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: at the carpet

The others are nothing compared to the mess of my DD's room, believe me:o

I wish I had a camera to show you the state of it  It seriously looks like a whirlwind has visited and dumped tons of stuff everywhere

I dread to think what she will be like at 19:eek:

...just the cloakroom to do to finish the ground floor - but now it's coffee time!

Miserable grey start to the day, but now the sun's coming out. I may get some gardening time at home, but have a great long list of shopping to do. Sister, niece, nephew, BIL, brother and new SIL all have birthdays in July.... I'm going to do a present drop tomorrow, as I'm hoping to go over and see Mum, as long as it's not too unbearably hot.

    Back later!
