My M.A.C.A.W challenge this week is..............to do 1 hour studying a day

I will hopefully post more this week and keep up with the lists! I really need to get myself into a routine, I seem to be struggling to fit everything in at the minute. Doing the dailies is a push before anything else! Any tips from anyone??

Thanks for the lists and the stars x x x

I'm still up, being trying to clean oven and it is soooo bad! Have had the racks steeping in the bath with soda crystals (don't know if that's what should use - sure greenbee said something about bicarb for something), and they are not cleaning! Help! Been at them with a brillo pad but it will take me hours - any quicker ways?!

I need them done tonight or won't get shower in the morning!

It's the funeral of OH's Nephew on Thursday and his Mum's said it's casual dress:confused: i've never heard of that before at a funeral but if it's what she wants i won't argue.

A friend of ours wore a Quo T shirt to DH's funeral, given that there were lots of police uniforms on show he was not sure if he had done the right thing. But it made me smile as I know DH would have loved to have everyone in Quo T shirts if he could have dictated dress! The friend was worried about upsetting me but I told him it was SO right to wear the T shirt. I wore a bright jacket as it just felt right.

    Dispatches:

Serena and Me thank you both for sharing the photos of your beautiful daughters

    Fedup good luck for tomorrow

Holly often when funerals are for younger people the dress is less formal, when a young local lad died they asked for everybody to wear football shirts.

I have been out of it for a few weeks (big bro in hospital in London - lots of stress) not to mention kids moving house and skinting me for the next few months.

I hope your brother is on the road to recovery

Unfortunately DD2 is still not asleep. Think she's too hot up there...unfortunately that'll make her heat rash worse. Will all her spots it already looks like she's got some awful virus!!!!!

Have you tried an anti histamine like piriton or dabbing her with calamine lotion?
[he told me his worst thing he had to do – believe me you don’t want to know.

I'm so glad your OH has finally been able to share such a dreadful experience and hope that you can both find some way forward. Do the forces not offer some kind of support? I have no experience of the military but feel so sorry for you all, war is such a sad and futile thing

I've enjoyed not really flying this past week but need to get back on track this week starting from upstairs and working down.

I don't think I've ever dressed formally for a funeral. I think people prefer you to turn up in clothes the deceased would recognise you in IYSWIM. I always thought it strange that my parents gave my brother's suit for the funeral directors to dress him in - that's was the only time I'd ever seen him in it, I think! Some of his friends came in suits, but most were in their usual attire. I'm ashamed to say that I'm struggling to remember whatI wore :o

Anyway, 5 reports completed so not too bad. The other 5 are about half done so only another couple of hours work by my reckoning (not tonight though!)

I need a list for the week .........

Oh, and I'm getting presented with my 10 year badge at Rainbows :D tomorrow so I need an ironed uniform!
