Thanks for your hugs Dusty - I'm still hoping it's a virus that can sometimes cause inflammation within the joints. After our last visit I was told it was because he was double jointed so I was expecting him to be discharged today. Bit of a shock to find out they now think it is something. I still find it odd that he gets the pain just before he grows out of all his clothes...they insist there's no such thing as growing pains though! (sorry, that turned into a rant didn't it!!).

Going to s/s the kitchen then help DD with her cycling course work and get DS and his friend to cubs....it never stops! xx

I was reading about growing pains in the paper yesterday :

Oh, I've done Wednesday's list Toots :) (did it yesterday).

We just had a nice shower of rain but could really do with a big ol' thunderstorm to clear the air, it's so humid.

thanks mudbath and soappie - it helps knowing I've got you all on my side. I'll have to do a toots and imagine you all standing behind me in the interview room.

I'll be there making funny faces - you suddenly brought to mind that scene from the Full Monty where the blokes are bobbing up and down outside the window with the garden gnome :rotfl:

Hubby doesn't want the doc knowing much but i'll be bursting that bubble, same with his parents as well (they think he is fine), as i can't do it on my own with the kids off as well.
He sould have been in hospital weeks ago but wouldn't go.

Thanks again everyone for the hugs and advice, i've promised myself i'll look after me a bit better.:A:A:A:A:A:A:A
I'm sorry but thats rubbish about not letting the doctor know much - you are quite right to tell the doctor what's happening. As a person who has depression, I can tell you that you don't always think the right way and you don't always make wise decisions. Keeping his true condition from the doctor is one of those. If he won't, you definitely need to. How is the doctor supposed to help him if he/she doesn't know what's happening. i would also tell the doc that you feel your husband should be in hospital.
You sound like you are doing really well in such a tough situation, you sound very level headed, which is exactly what your dh needs right now. Well done to you, you are a real star. i'm sure that deep down he appreciates all you are doing even if he can't say that, and he might not thank you now for telling the doctor and his parents, but one day he will realise that you did the right thing.

Brilliant! Poor Sexy will really be put off now when she's there if she suddenly imagines us doing that! i love the Full Monty, such a brilliant film!

Went out to the inlaws tonight although I was too tired really, but after about 20 minutes I burst into tears and we had to leave. Going to take things easy tomorrow. I think I’m just overtired, and really not enjoying the heat.

Sexy, you go get em tomorrow, I have every confidence in you. My mum told me to view job interviews as practice so that way you are more relaxed! Whatever you do do not imagine us bobbing up and down outside the window pulling faces at you – imagine us willing you on and making you nice and calm

WTG Pigpen well done on the debts

Going to bed now. Will try to do gentle flying tomorrow and am taking my friend L to go and pick up a kitten from my friend C, the kittens i was looking after a few weeks ago. but most of all, i'm going to rest and try to relax!

  • Princess Jane, I really admire you for being able to work so many hours

Thanks, the daytime job is no effort TBH because I love it so much, q12 hours can fly by and I haven't noticed.

The second is pure necessity. If I don't we don't have enough cash. Simples, like the meer cat says.

Today I've had my hair dyed fantastic colours then and totally re-arranged and decluttered my office with help from lovely OH.

Just got in and he made curry. Fab.

Loads of stuff to do before we go away Sat - fake tan, pedicure, eyebrow/lash wax/tint.

    Plus flying, of course..
