As the title says really. I'm after a core2duo cpu and I though someone out there would know the best deals.

take a trip to Brussels, go to Anneessens metro station, cross the main road and you'll find a selection of very cheap shops for components, around 30% than the UK.0

Just make sure it'll fit before you start going out buying a new CPU (if you haven't already).
Had a customer not long back, who wanted to replace his 1.2ghz AMD with a dual core Intel..... He refused to accept that it couldn't be done (because his mate told him something) and insisted I was an idiot and shouldn't be in the IT business!!!! I just left him to it, don't know what happened from there on lol“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Beggars belief doesn't it? I know my limitations, that's why I find myself here asking the odd question here and there.

Try your local independent computer shop, as well as getting friendly advice you might also get yourself a bargain.0
