As the title says really. I'm after a core2duo cpu and I though someone out there would know the best deals.
Thanks for your time.

    CCL, overclock, overclockers
Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.
  • take a trip to Brussels, go to Anneessens metro station, cross the main road and you'll find a selection of very cheap shops for components, around 30% than the UK.

Just make sure it'll fit before you start going out buying a new CPU (if you haven't already).

Had a customer not long back, who wanted to replace his 1.2ghz AMD with a dual core Intel..... He refused to accept that it couldn't be done (because his mate told him something) and insisted I was an idiot and shouldn't be in the IT business!!!! I just left him to it, don't know what happened from there on lol

Well, anyone you know working for European Parliament could probably get them for you on expenses!

Beggars belief doesn't it? I know my limitations, that's why I find myself here asking the odd question here and there.

Try your local independent computer shop, as well as getting friendly advice you might also get yourself a bargain.
