I've just seen natweststaffmember's answer to another poster regarding having a default taken off their record as it was due to unfair charges, but it seems that the account has to have been in dispute when the default was put on. Mine wasn't in dispute as I have not sent in a claim yet, although it was due purely to charges being put on the account. So not sure if I would be able to get it taken off. How long do they stay on your account for? Does anyone know please?

    TIA

£10 is a yes for bank charges and credit card SAR but make sure you put both credit card number and bank account and sort code on the request(it saves time).
Default issue can only be really sorted out if they repay the charges so let's get the charges sorted out first.

Thanks natweststaffmember. I am still worried though that if I put in a request to have my charges returned, they may stop, or lower my overdraft limit in November when it is reviewed.

We can deal with that issue perhaps when it occurs but keep all paperwork.
