Hi I have just bought a Nokia 2110 from the car boot for 50p.....just for a bit of fun. It doesn't have a charger though and was wondering where I could get one from. I have looked on Ebay but they seem to be in car chargers.
It's a great thing... came with 2 spare batteries, a charging/discharging stand and hand book. I would love to get it working.
Any idea what sim card I would need?
TIA

It will, but there is a socket in the back of the charging unit the same size as the phone socket, so I am guessing that the charger will work the unit. There are no wires with the charging unit.

you can probably get chargers on ebay. Im guessing you need the older style connector, the little thin pin on the newer ones is too narrow.
You can probably get an adapter though that fits over the end of the newer ones, I have one that fits my power monkey charger which lets it plug into either nokia fitting.
You could ask on freecycle, someone may have an older nokia charger laying unused in a drawer.0 -
According to one site (which this board filters for some reason) the missing part is known as a CHH-2, though this might just be the name of the unit as a whole.
Since you've already found some in-car chargers, you could get one of those along with a corresponding mains adapter instead. You still wouldn't be able to use the charging stand, but it would at least be possible to charge the phone.0
