While it might be interesting, I'm not too bothered about what the card looks like. Not many people will see the card, and I'd rather choose a bank on it's benefits rather then what the debit card looks like.

lol that would be a good idea, i know your suggestion is random, but would be a good idea, for instance my nan finds it harder at 80 years old to read her shiney card especially if it is in bright sun when she has to read it over the phone for phone payments (her phone is near the window) whereas she may be able to read a matt card better as is less reflective of the lightMFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0

The Egg Visa card has a fairly matt finish.
When you say shiny,, do you mean the colour of the text (embossed name and number) or the card itself?0 -
the card itself0
