alan yes i agree he will be better of in years to come ie getting work and so forth but there are plenty of so called plasterers out there doing poor jobs for 200 plus per day i doubt very much if my son will earn thay amount unless he becomes a chartered accountant

Because they are chancers, theres plenty about.
  • I have to say between £150 and £250 a day is about the right price I wont set my alarm clock for anything less thats a sure fact.

The fact that you are happy to pay a plaster £80 a day worries me... why is he charging £80 a day is it because thats all he can get? Also doing a job on day work in my opinion is nuts.... when I am on day work I slow right down..... no point busting your balls for day work money.

There is a lot of money to be made plastering and if done right and you are a good plasterer there is no reason why you can earn more than an accountant. However I think your son is making the right choice as I agree that I dont know many poor accountants

If you need to get quotes or are keen to find out what a plasterer is like then plasterersforum.com is a good place to start....
