Ebay is ok for some. Im getting mine from SAAS so i need to buy from a shop and this is the best deal ive seen from a non-ebay shop.

  • If anyone is thinking of buying one of these - aria are doing a similar model (it seems to be the updated versions of the ones above - just without a FM Radio):

This one doesn't have an FM radio - but details are at these links:

    128MB - £26.97
    256MB - £41.07
    512MB - £52.82
    1GB - £82.19

I bought my 512mb mp3 player with usual extras such as fm radio, digital voice recorder, etc for £61 Inc p&p from:

    http://www.mp3playerdeals.co.uk/shop/detail.asp?ProductGroupID=12747#

Although they have rose a little in price since I bought mine. I must say I’m more than happy with it.
No reliance should be placed on the above.

My Dad has one and it's pretty good.

Something that has stumped us about it though - if you look on the left hand side of this picture, you will see a shiny round thing to which the headphones are attached. There is a little plug which can be removed with 2 press in catches on the side. Attached to the plug is a short loop of string. Does anyone know what it is for?!

There nothing in the instructions and it's annoying the hell out of us!
  • Put the string through the loop at the end of the player (right by it on the picture!) and hook it through itself (hope that made sense). This means the player hangs by the string and not the headphone cord.
The string can then be detatched using the plug when not connected to the phones!

these are crap! my cousin got one for christmas! and the sound quality is rubbish!

also do a search for the company that lofty is linking to and you will be horrified! goods not arriving etc! Stay clear! go to eBay or amazon or even play as suggested above! :-/

  • Disagree with Wirm on all counts - sound quality is good - not as good as my Philips - but is good all the same - our daughters not complaining anyway.
