512 Mb - You won't get much on that tiny thing. I use a 20Gb Gmini from Archos.com - you can pick 'em up dirt cheap off e-bay and they store all my digital pictures too.

It depends - I wouldn't recommend running or jogging with any hard disk based player, whereas players of this type would be ideal since they can't skip and don't have a hard disk to damage.

512Mb would store around 8 hours of music at 128k.

its also the usb flash drive thing meaning you can put songs on anywhere without needing to install drivers ( as long as you have win 2000 or better installed) Ideal for students as colleges and uni's dont know what floppy drives are these days and dont offer cd-roms on most of their machines.

I beg to differ - I've just uploaded 16 albums in WMA format onto my daughters - more than enough for her.

And I'm guessing when she wants others putting on she'll be fed up of some of those now on there.

play.com have 1gb ones for £89.99 delivered. I've checked my iTunes library and its bout 4gb so I guess I have to wait to get a Muvo 4 gig or similar
