  • Thank you for the new post and keeping all upto date.
I am on my way to Ts ( metro and big one0 and will test what they say about using coupons in both .
Thought it was funny when they took everything yesterday - i had printed the finish one by mistake on two sides and she put through both sides £4 off . Didnt like to say anything as thought she may call superviser over to get it removed then they would have seen all my other coupons and not let me put them through .
    Will report back.

The voting in the poll has stated that 4 out of 5, want a combined thread (ignoring the two spoiling votes!).
It wasn't up for long though, was it?
I went away Friday late afternoon, got back this morning, and it has been done and dusted.
Anyway, I have belatedly added my vote to the combined (A) thread vote.
A couple of quick questions, if I may;)....
    1) If the vote swings the other way, after more people are aware of it, will folk take heed?
    2) How do you check the vote, or is it a secret ballot?
It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)

I seemed to have missed out on this too, mainly because Ive only had time to flick through all the posts but I still dont really know how this has come about as from what I can remember Lori only asked everyone to keep the chat "coupon related" which I for one agree with and if the new coupons are going to be highlighted in blue this should make things a lot easier for those that havent got time to read every post.

If it changes then Dundee will be the last to know (which could work in our favour in the end!). ;)
    Ditto:T:T
....why are so many individuals even phoning/emailing Dundee CS....if your store MANAGER has changed the rules...nothing will change it.....but why contact Dundee if you haven't contacted the STORE MANAGER:confused::confused:

    thanks gill:beer:

I had a wee nosy through the first couple of posts. I notice it said 'varies from store to store...ask at customer services'. Was just wondering what the general consensus was, as I was a bit scared to ask at customer services! Don't want to draw attention to myself early on!!!:D:cool:
    Hi Vaz...and welcome.....
What you found on your "wee nosy through the first couple of posts" IS the general consensus.
After many THOUSANDS of posts and the same questions coming up dozens of times and beind given the same ansewer dozens of times the FREQUENTLY ASKED Questions section was formed.

Hi - I just wanted to give my thoughts on the whole new thread thing.

It appears that the majority of people want a combined thread including the banter/drivel etc. BUT are we missing the point that Honey was politely trying to make when she raised the issue ?

I really don't think it was a case of cutting out altogether the chit chat posts and having a seperate thread, but more a question of just reining it in a little - for example we were getting a dozen posts of people giving a one line 'good night' at the end of the day.

The idea of highlighting any important coupon news in blue is a good one, let's hope it works and that new people to the thread read the first posts and adhere to that one.

I just think that people need to understand what Honey was trying to get across, rein it in a bit and maybe we can get back to the way it was.

    What do others reckon ?

I reckon we all reign this discussion in....use the drivel thread if we need to discuss it, and place you vote where it counts (link repeated a couple of posts above)...otherwise this will go round in circles again:confused:

edit:....just re-read this....it's not aimed at "having a go at Alena99"....just suggesting anyone wanting to continue witha "friendly" discission of it, could go to the dedicated "chat" thread...sorry to Alena or anyone else if they read it as being antagonostic....it wasn't meant to be.:A
