I'm sure this has been posted (tho cannot c where:o) but here it goes... @ the mo the cash points @ T's r printing some MOCs, Tesco specific, @ the bottom of the receipts... these coupons r also printed on balance enquiry receipts...;) I understand there r about 12 different MOCs available & different cash points print different coupons... the coupons r valid till 31/7/09... yet to establish is if different MOCs r printed on different days @ the same cash point... will check 2moro when I visit my local T's... I've had 2 different MOCs printed @ different stores which were:
25p WYS £1 on canned soups;
50p WYS £2 on multipack crisps (some of these r on offer @ T's on BOGOF); will also have to check if the voucher could possibly work on pre BOGOF items... HTHS0 -
i think there are now more posts about chatting than there were chat posts
i went into a new tescos for me and was told that it was only 10%
i asked him politely to check with the supervisor since i knew the national policy:D
she came along and told me it was 10% and always had been
i told her i had a copy of the national policy which said i could use as many as i liked as long as they were in date different and tesco stocked it:D
she told me it was 10%
i politely asked her to go and check
she told me she was the team leader and that she knew what to do
i politely asked her to check:D
she came back very red faced and took all my coupons
she couldn't stop saying sorry and said she would make sure all the operators knew to take them next time:D:D:D:D:D
thank you to all on here who gave me the strength to stand up to her:T:T:T:T:T0 -
Hi gill377. I appreciate your comments, thank you.
However, whilst there are a lot of people who enjoyed the "good nights" etc there are also a lot of people who didn't and have found that too many posts were being used unneccesarily. SO many people were reporting that it was taking an age to catch up with the thread after being away from the site for just a short while !
It may be worth while you reading back at Honey's post that brought this to attention and read what she was politely requesting.
I for one, do not want to stop the banter/drivel - most of the time it's great fun.
If you want to chat about this some more, let's take this over to the chat/drivel thread .......
you are the one who wanted to "chat" about it, lets just agree to disagree, :beer:Live for today, for tomorrow is promised to no-one.

You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)
If you use the "search this thread" button at the top of the page, you may find it's been answered already!;)0 -
AARRRGGHHH - your missing the point !!!! Please would someone read Honey's original request post. AARGGGHH It's not about two seperate threads it's about people just reining it in just a teeny bit. AARGGGH !
Right - my hair is now all over the floor after being torn out. I GIVE UP !!
come on alena99 theres no need for all this. everyone has their own opinions, the thread is working well, and we are all aware of honeys polite request and believe it or not we do understand it. maybe you should look at your own posts this morning and see how much drivel you have generated.Live for today, for tomorrow is promised to no-one.

I have always enjoyed the banter which filled the spaces between the discovery of a new MOC, and feel that it is an integral part of giving this thread a real community feel: turning faceless strangers into people with whom we may have some rapport and affection. I - like many others here, I am sure - spend lots of time searching for new coupons not only for myself but because I want to share them with you all.
Since the furore about chat/no-chat has erupted I have felt too uncomfortable to be an active member of this thread, and have reverted for the most part to lurking silently. I fully understand why some people are averse to wading through pages of levity and mindless comments to reach the golden MOC nuggets (despite them always being efficiently wheeled over to the front page), but I do think that castigating people for chatting will ultimately only dissipate the warmth of the community, and that's a real shame.
I am however immensely grateful for Honey for all her hard work in maintaining the front page so professionally, and would like to pass on my thanks to her before I return to the shadows0 -

Ok - as you said, let's agree to disagree on this.
Maybe we should ask Honey to review things in a few weeks and she can let us know if things have improved ?0 -
anyone know of any new warby codes around!?:j0
