Am a "newby" so please be gentle! Tried to use the £5 Lidl voucher at Tesco Shoreham today, absolutely no luck. So i went to customer services. I Was told as there is no Lidl nearby they don't take them. So I mentioned Tesco Dundee said they should take them. Then told "it's up to individual stores whether we take them. The store manager has told us not to take them". I then asked to speak to the store manager, he apparently has today off....Spoke to his "deputy" who said as the Lidl voucher doesn't scan they don't get their money back!! - Off who i asked Lidl?! Of course you won't get your £5 back i said - these vouchers are supposed to get you to spend £30, and then give you £5 off. Tesco want me to shop here rather than at Lidl which is why Dundee have said accept the voucher. Still no joy. I even got told that "if any coupon scans we get our money back from Head Office" Eventually I asked to speak to Dundee. The woman down the phone said they should accept it, and the store manager should override anyone saying don't. They STILL refused eventually I asked whether they were willing to loose me as a customer to Lidl. - Reply "yes".
    Any advice? Thanks!

Write to Tesco customer service and enclose your coupon and ask them to honour it.
I have had to do this a few days ago as my Local Tescos refused point blank to accept the voucher as well. Worth a try.
Im so fed up with being trouted and the store management refusing to accept the National coupon policy, i have wrote to Sir Terry, customer services in Dundee and The store Manager in all three stores its happened in.

    Evening everyone :D

I saw paper today @ £5 and bogof but it was Kodak  do these offers vary store to store? I think the Kodak is the same quality as Tesco's value range.

Mad, how does the HP Paper compare to Tesco Value?

Call Dundee again. Tell them said scenario. Send in receipt and voucher and et voila £5 to spend in T's:T
    (is that correct Coupon-mad):D

Thankyou for this, will do. I can't believe how much rubbish they wanted to spout at Customer Services, they were litterly making it up every time I came back with a reason for them to take it!:o

We use Tesco Finest for our moc printing. :D:D:D It almost feels like proper mocs when they are printed and not internet prints :T:T:T

Far superior! Although most copier paper is 80g/m 2. Which means per square metre the weight of the paper would be errrrr 80g. But it doesn't stop there.....it's all dependent on the way it is woven and the quality to produce the end result. It's the same as if you receive a dodgy five pound note....the weight is there, but if you feel it, the quality is not. If memory serves me correctly Tesco's value range is 75g/ m2. OK for most of our MOC's but anything heavy on ink i.e. the pizza express one will tend to "bleed through". Thus, the HP paper having been woven to a higher standard will tend to absorb the ink to a higher standard and therefore a greater transparency. One last thing, if you are using an Epson printer don't use kodak paper for your photograhs. Prints OK but when it dries becomes pixalated.

    HTH,
    Mad :)

We use finest too, it is gorge. Have also used one in clear cello/purple band which is nice about £4.50 but worth it.
Was going to buy the HP BOGOF paper along with a printer but was TROUTED BIG TIME....so not happy but LOVELY SA is going to address it tomorrow so hopefully all will be well in the Hogs household.
If not I shall be on the warpath, out for a meal with the girls then Singstar so ears will be crying, trust me I am THAT bad!

Hope you all had a lovely day.

Bully did you go with the Epson, loaded it up & working it like a donkey.

I used to use really high quality 100gsm paper, gorgeous stuff really smooth especially on one side but I had to stop using it!! Firstly I was beginning to find that I couldn't close me wallet with me wad of moc's inside:eek: and secondly the SA's were getting paper cuts from it :o One really nice girl had quite a nasty paper cut, that decided it for me so its back to the cheap and cheerful recycled stuff for me (It's all free for me anyhoo :rotfl:)
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)
