I think sinw is responding to a recent email from warburtons, I have just received it today too, it's a competition entry rather than entering a code to get your 30p coupon, however as I am still banned it won't print for me! :(

Yes, I've had two  emails to each of my email addresses so that's quite a lot that I can't get either  (Not on my main PC anyhoo ;))

  • I don't even get a chance to be banned - apparently "Julie" is not a valid first name on the warburtons comp entry form

And I got trouted at Mr T's - when supervisor was called I explained policy and she tried scanning them got confused canceled the coupons and rescanned them but missed out one of my £1 off coupons  Didn't dare complain further though as Trouts on the CS desk.

But on the plus side i didn't go bright red :D and stood my ground.
  • Am a "newby" so please be gentle! Tried to use the £5 Lidl voucher at Tesco Shoreham today, absolutely no luck. So i went to customer services. I Was told as there is no Lidl nearby they don't take them. So I mentioned Tesco Dundee said they should take them. Then told "it's up to individual stores whether we take them. The store manager has told us not to take them". I then asked to speak to the store manager, he apparently has today off....Spoke to his "deputy" who said as the Lidl voucher doesn't scan they don't get their money back!! - Off who i asked Lidl?! Of course you won't get your £5 back i said - these vouchers are supposed to get you to spend £30, and then give you £5 off. Tesco want me to shop here rather than at Lidl which is why Dundee have said accept the voucher. Still no joy. I even got told that "if any coupon scans we get our money back from Head Office" Eventually I asked to speak to Dundee. The woman down the phone said they should accept it, and the store manager should override anyone saying don't. They STILL refused eventually I asked whether they were willing to loose me as a customer to Lidl. - Reply "yes".
    Any advice? Thanks!

That is very sad indeed but even more maddening! I don't know why they want to punish the honest couponers! I hate the thought of not shopping there anymore as I really love the staff there but if they stop the coupons then I can't afford to shop there anymore and will have to go back to Adli, Netto and Lidl, which I won't have to drive as far to as I do to get to Willenhall. They are all so nice! I'll miss them most of all!:( I wonder if they will miss the sales they get from me and my daughter (I take her with me as she doesn't drive) now when we stop shopping there.

Srictly 10%, and usually refuse a coupon that takes it over, even if its just one coupon, i.e spend £18 and hand over one £2 coupon, and they say its over the 10% allowed.

8/10 staff don't even allow any, and you have to argue. A pain in the butt.

Call Dundee again. Tell them said scenario. Send in receipt and voucher and et voila £5 to spend in T's:T
