    Hi everyone

Just popped in to say that Ive recently been to 2 different Tesco stores where my coupons have been name checked thoroughly as someone in the south-west has been obtaining coupons using names such as "Micky Mouse". This practice is threatening coupon usage as a whole and really unnecessary as most coupons can be obtained by entering our real names. Yesterday I was actually asked for proof of my name before the coupons would be accepted and had to show my credit card. Sorry to rant but I really dont want anything to put coupon usage at risk.

I always use my real name (often just my initial though) but sometimes have mocs in hubby's name as well. I've kept my maiden name, and over recent weeks read on here of people being refused their mocs cos of names that are on them have been waiting for us to be refused them cos of the 2 different names. Touch wood it hasn't happened yet - but must mention it to hubby incase something is said when he is shopping, he uses my clubcard anyway so they should be able to see my name from that. I agree that there is no need for the use of the likes of Mickey Mouse etc and it will only end with the stores banning the use of coupons. I have one store that is very moc friendly usually and I would like to keep it that way too.

I also received my Nivea £2 moc yesterday. Thanks to whoever posted about it - think it was Gill?? Had a quick look on Mr T's site, can't see any cell renewal products online, but will have a look today when I go - sure that they must stock them.

I take a small stanley knife (you know the kind you get about 12 for a £ and they are all different colours and the knife slides out for you to use and back in when you are done - just like a stanley knife) and push it just through the box at the top, be careful not to push the knife through too far as you will puncture the bag with the cereal, then run the knife along the top dotted line, then I use a pair of scissors to finish cutting the coupon off the box. That way I can use the coupon now and still have fresh cereal that I don't have to either guess what it is or label it and it stacks away better in the box.

That is exactly what I do too except I give all mine away to my daughter-in-law so everybody is happy!

Must b something 2 do with the following:

    http://www.fabulousmag.co.uk/freeshoes/

Enter the competition and get, automatically, 12 coupons for the NOTW (via post)... tho it states now on the T&Cs comp closed on 4/5/09; wonder if vouchers would still come if we entered the comp now... well worth a try I think...;)

I dont really see a problem using an initial of maybe your partners surname because T can still get reimbursed for the coupon but its doubtful a company will reimburse the money for a coupon where the product was purchased by Mickey Mouse. Sometimes my mum has given me one of her coupons when she knows she will be unable to get to T before it expires which if they check every name I will now be unable to use.
