1st stop was tesco, they took all of my coupons without a problem.as they always do every day.they call me coupon man.(maybe i should where a cape, and have my underpants on the outside)

took dog to the vets because of a spot on his chin... That cost £43 just to be told it only a mole nothing to worry about.

Took my car for its m.o.t. It passed with only 1 advisory that cast another £52.

Came home tryed to print out some more coupons. The printer wouldnt work lights flash but nothing happens. Had to buy a new printer got a hp deskjet d1560 only £25 in argos (paid for with my magnum ice lolly card)

then come back and there was a letter from the tax man. Oh no i thought what now.

But to my surprise in the letter he tells me hes paid me £855 for unpaid working tax credit.. Not bad as i gave up work last june. I telephoned them to make sure this was right and they confirmed it was.

    What a day.

:T Whoo hoo.. Lucky you.. Lend us a 10er lol

Little stressed shopping with hubby, was only going to use mocs , but he kept picking things up and pestering for them..worse than shopping with a child!!!So decided to go mad and do a 'big shop' and spend £50 in order to use £5 Farm Food moc....bought another perfume for the 500 points, milk for 40, garlic bread had 30 points and it was reduced to 99p scones had 15 and Sunbites had 50...635 plus 50 for shopping...lovely 685 points...used £23 of mocs inc a £3 Rinse Aid removed at checkout , came to £50.07p...also got a Fajita with £2 moc...was checking very carefully 'cos bogofs make it tricky to spend as near to £50 as possible...so not bad for £27....tried to explain to hubby would have had to have spent £685 to get those 685 points....he looked very puzzled....didn't get a Pikapak...must be slipping!!!
(will get 2 tomorrow when I shop and only use mocs...)determined to have saved enough with mocs this month to cover cost of laptop...fingers crossed, nearly done it!!!

Sorry to get any of us too excited but thought I'd post anyway for those that actually buy the KOS products in Boots - Both expire 31/12/09

    http://www.shave.com/serum/images/coupon_uk.pdf

Clearly states Boots on the moc and the text, also says they will not honour if misredeemed so please don't use them in T's folks!!
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)

  • I'm almost positive this would have been posted, but I did a quick search and it didn't come up with anything. So for the tiniest chance it hasn't been psoted, check your emails for an email from plenty. The subject says nothing about a coupon, but if you open it, and go down it says "another chance to print of a 50p coupon" let me print again :)

I dont mean to be pessimistic as of course I dont know your circumstances but please ensure you are actually due the WTC money as this seems a bit odd. Presumably it was June 08 when you gave up work but if that was the case I would have thought you would have got this money months ago. The benefits thread on here is very useful if you want to check. I just dont want you to be in the same position are we are and end up owing the HMRC money.
