sorry but request the balance of what?

Get an account balance or mini statement for a bank account using your card at a Tesco cash machine at the stores. There will be a coupon at the bottom. Not always though, as a different Tesco's today had no coupon.
A very happy shop today, the finishe rinse aid I bought last week, the ones with the £3 coupon, were according to the sign special offer £2.50, I bought 10 - 5 of each colour, and used the 10 £3 coupons of my shop, I didn't look at receipt iuntil I got home and realised that 1 colour had gone through at £3.62 so back I went today and got DTD refund of £11.20, then bought £45.78 worth of shopping for just £15.98, including 3 more bottles of rinse aid, and some huggies swimmers with coupons on so £10.50 back in coupons for next time.

Well done :T - i noticed they had gone back up, so gave them a miss today.

    Hi All,

I'm sitting with the Daily Mail vouchers in front of me (the ones from Saturday) and was going to use the £2.50 off £10 spend on meat fish and poultry....you know the 3 for 10 meats at the end of the aisles? The barcode starts 99 but ends 2 0 0 9 (not the year that's the last four digits)...........doesn't this mean only £2.00 will come off the bill. I could go to customer services if it doesn't but I always feel a bit cringey when my recepit shows I paid for almost everything with coupons!! Anyone tried this coupon yet?

Mine didn't scan when I used it and I had to go to cs. When I'm using this sort of moc I group the qualifying spend products together on the conveyer belt. Eg all of my meat then all of my fruit and veg etc that way if there's a problem with it scanning cs can easily total my meat together without looking at my receipt too much. I know what you mean about having to go to cs for money off when you've already got loads off though.
  • Hi all just a quick post to let you all know that my local T's has changd it's policy to only accepting 50% of the total of your shop in coupons. My flatmate went in today to do a shop and the one lad sa that she goes to quite often, as he's cool about using the coupons, said they'd been told in the morning. Then when she went round again the girl sa she went to was just being told by a supervisor that policy had changed. Not sure if this is a local thing or being rolled out nationwide.

Hi miss-piggin, these MOCS are printed from the cash-machines (hole-in-the-wall, autotellers) that are on the outside of Tesco branches.
If you request areceipt with any transaction, they print off at the bottom of your receipt.
If you ask for a check of the balance on your bank card, it prints at the bottom of it.
You can then ask for another check of your balance (balance enquiry) and it will print ANOTHER........etc

edit:- thanks tech spec for explaining already...playing catch-up again, as I have just been for my "fix"
Local is still accepting everything fine, no hint of policy changes.....SA was a bit p!ssed off about the bickering on the thread though:rotfl:
It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)

Had 2 good days of coupon use - all coupons accepted whether they have scanned or had to be typed in. Not often that I get that - usually have 1 good day followed by a day of "sorry we can't use the hand scanner or type them in". Although I have now managed to get most of my coupons scanning fine - I used to copy and save them as word documents, (obviously only the PDF files) but now I save them as either photoshop or paintshop pro files and the quality seems to be alot better.

Hope tomorrow brings sunshine and MOCS .... Night all

No probs, noticed you wernt around so thought i'd post an answer.

They give money to charity (Muscular Dystrophy Campaign) every time you use the machine aswell (only 0.0125p per use - but every little helps).

More details of cash point coupons available, and the charity campaign, can be found here:-

so if we each pull off 8 coupons a day, from the hole-in-the-wall, we each help raise 1p for charity....it all adds up:beer:

Try 80 goes for a penny

They have got a bit of stick for the amount - but they do have a lot of customers i suppose.

So leave today clear - you have a long day ahead raising that penny.

I'm just posting them a cheque :rotfl:
