Stash for xmas -
Ive been getting booze and try to get this in the evening about 5.00 when they are really busy and will take all mocs - get one bottle a day
Contreau was £20:eek: got this for £7 with mocs yesterday.
In the morning I get a bottle of cheap Ts stuff like Vodka and a few jellies as they normally stick to the 5 coupons rule this adds to £5.50 for me to spend.
Note to self -Find a different hiding place - dont confuse domestos with booze.
Dad is a couponer and being aged 76 has gone into war mode and has been stashing tuna/tins beans, vegl, lentils, corned beef anything with a long date on . He thinks this funny flu going round will kill loads of people by xmas and there will be a shortage of food !
Take your pick mine or his for xmas - either way were sorted0 -

Mister C J had to buy me a separate shed just for all my stashings. He calls it our "garden shop".
I have started squirrelling away a few bits and bobs of MOC-purchased non-perishables for Christmas, but am currently concentrating on gathering THE ESSENTIALS (gin, wine, beer, cider, jars of dorito dips, jars of olives etc) for our forthcoming self-catering boating holiday. There's quite a lot, so I hope we don't sink.0 -
Aside from finish, fairy liquid, CIF etc I am currently hoarding the 24hr bleach from T 2 for £1.50 & the grotbuster from A £1 ea using relevant MOC.0

After Mad posted the other day about starting to stock up for Christmas, I thought ooh that's a good idea, I'll get organized this year on the food front and get a bit each week. But then I sat and thought about it, and really I don't buy anything much extra over Christmas than I normally do. Surely I can't be the only one
Ok I do normally buy some peanuts, but that's usually about it.
My biggest expense is always the kiddies selection boxes and those tubes of sweets - real rip off, but its Christmas, the kids expect them. I should save the boxes and tubes from previous years and just refill them - would be much cheaper. Mind you my eldest has said that this year he wants a big box filled with all his favourite sweets & chocolate like I did for my OH for his birthday - would be cheaper than buying all the selection boxes and crap that I normally do.0 -
After staying away from Tesco for a couple of weeks, I decided to head off to get some of the butter spread with 50 extra points.
However the extra points are nowhere to be seen on my receipt, do they show up at a later date?
Many thanks0 -
