    Hi,

I've just tried this and after entering the promo code and my details it rejected my details with the message: "Unfortunately our system has not matched your data to our Trial Card Promotion."

I'm thinking of just trying again tomorrow night but thought it would be worth mentioning here as perhaps you might have some suggestions on how to get around this.

    Cheers

can you tell me how you managed to get it to work for you gghh? TIA:D

I'm getting the same message as others have mentioned -

    • Thank you for applying for a Family & Friends Railcard. Unfortunately our system has not matched your data to our Trial Card Promotion.
You can still apply for a Railcard without the code and enjoy 1/3 off adult and 60% off kids fares.

I've only just seen this, sorry. I've no idea why it worked for me, I hadn't realised you were supposed to have done the free trial so I just entered the code and paid and got my card a few days later!
Sorry I can't be more helpful

Just been having similar problems to other people with this one.

I had no luck with the Daily Mail one (same message) but finally got Morrisons to work by going to http://www.familyandfriends-railcard.co.uk/morrisons and entering the code MORRIS10 (not Morris01 as previously stated).

The message re: YHA membership for this promotion didn't come up until after I paid.

Hope this is helpful to some of you.

I too had the same problem. I phoned up railcard and a very nice lady talked me through it. The problem seemed to be that basically I am already registered with railcard online, so it kept telling me my email address was already taken. Also I already have an active railcard which expires in October. Obviously I still want to go ahead with the half price offer now, but the system doesn't want to let me.

At the top of the front page it says in small letters "login". I clicked on that, logged in and then got a message saying my railcard wan't due for renewal but they'd let me know when it was. Then I clicked on the "buy another railcard" tab and it took me to the form where you can put in the Daily Mail code, fill in your details and pay £13.

Bingo. After trying for ages yesterday without success, I am really chuffed to have cracked it. I use my card loads...

Thanks to all MSE members who've posted advice on this-there is obviously some glitch in the system. I've just phoned on 08448 714036 and spoken to a very helpful lady who took me through the application, and took my email address, changed something on the system, after which it all went through fine. One family railcard £13. She even told me the code and made sure I entered it correctly.
