i notice a lot of people on here have different pictures under there name on this site
how do i put a picture on here under my name please??

on the menu bar at the top you have

main site, chat, help, search, members, profile, notification, logout


Click profile and 3/4's of the way down is the option to change your 'avatar' which is what the picture is. You can either pic one from the list or add your own by inserting the internet address of the pic you want

Hi terrier lady.

To answer your question, go to a site like the link below.

http://www.animationfactory.com/free/animals/animals_page_aa.html

Right click on an animation avatar you like. Click on Properties. Copy the Url address.

For example.
http://images.animfactory.com/animations/animals/bison/buffalo_running_md_wht.gif

Go to Profile at the top of the page and follow the instructions above posted by SG by pasting the Url address you copied in the avatar space address bar.

You should now have an animated avatar. HTHs.

??? why is the picture image blurred?

Its been resized. There is a limit on avatar size, and the result is the image has been changed by the board. I think the limit on size is 65 by 65 here.
If you right click on the picture want and do properties and look at dimensions it will show you the size of the picture.

Thank you all for the tips.....it was a bit difficult for me at first to understand that you must first go to a website that has animated gifs and then click on one of your choice and then copy the address in the URL address bar and then paste it into the box for your own pic that is in your profile page in moneysavingexpert...ha, so easy when you know how. Cheers  ;D
