When I started out running - every step was agony - I was so incredibly unfit, but I dont feel running the marathon was more of an achievement than someone who runs it in 2:05 for example - what I achieved was good for me.
Sort of like the difference between a person passing their driving test and someone winning formula 1...both take work but one is something most people can do the other is something very few can do...not to say that both arent an achievement to the person who does them...
Now I understand a bit better what you were trying to say....I think
