The card and PIN won't be long then.

When the card comes you have to call to activate it, call goes to CPP or another sales company in York so you get the ID theft protection and experian credit report sales speil.

    Boooo to that

thanks, so will get the typical sales speil lol!!! at least it means i have a back up card for abroad as well as my post office card, (have nationwide as well, but majority of my hols are out of the eurozone)

hmm ok, not sure wether to call santander/abbey?

received 2 letters from them today (15/7/09)

first one dated 10.7.09 enclosing a letter saying the card is ready but unable to send it as had not received the signed agreement, and enclosing a duplicate to sign (but i only received the origional one on 8.7.09 and posted it back the same time.

second letter is dated 13th July with the pin,

does any one know if they send the pins out only when the agreement received (and therefore the letters have crossed and card should be on way) or could they send the pin out before the agreement received?? i have also noted the direct debit has been set up on my lloyds current account as well

also noticed that no where on any of the letters do they refer to it as a Zero card, this is what i definatly applied for online (indeed for an aternative, gives a tel number rather than online application) am i right to assume that they will send me the card i applied for (and not like some companies that will sometimes issue an "alternative")

Friend applied via paper route. She got the application because she 'manages her current account well'. It took her 2-3 weeks. P.s. She doesn't hardly use the current account!

Took more than 7 days in my case - so irritatingly I had left the country for 3 months before it arrived! So managed the account by calls to their call centre (which I found fine and apparently UK based).

That's what she's waiting for too. So I cannot say.
