hi
i have applied for the abbey zero card today as a back up for holiday spending to my post office card (also have nationwide but as my hols are mainly out of europe may no longer use this for foreign usage)
however on the website it states there is a £10 dormancy fee, which is fine, as i have no problem using the card now and then to keep the account active, but on the facts box it doesnt say how long before this kicks in? is it something like 6 months? one year etc??
Also does any one know how long they take to let you know if you are accepted or not? and for the card to be issued?

It is 6 months.
See T&C 2.6 (a) "We may close your account or cancel or suspend your right to use your account if it has been dormant meaning there have been no transactions or a zero balance for a period of 6 months. Before.....Due to the cost of servicing an account, we may at our discretion charge a dormancy fee of £10 if your account has been dormant."0 -

The card and PIN won't be long then.
When the card comes you have to call to activate it, call goes to CPP or another sales company in York so you get the ID theft protection and experian credit report sales speil.
