Are Sky CS offering any deals if U ask to reduce package?

Has anyone recently tried to redice there Sky package and have you been offered deals by Sky, if so, what sort of deal?
I am on full package with an extra box and need to redice my costs. so wondering what others have been offered prior to calling so I know if what I get offered, if anything, before I say or no.

I am full package HD at 56 pound a month. I rang and said I was cancelling sport, he said it would save me 8 pound a month, or he could take 9 pound a month off and give me 6 months free sky sports?
You can imagine which deal I took.:beer:0
