200 bags on your flight (roughly). 4 seconds between each bag (can't be far away). Over 13 minutes from first to last bag on the conveyor belt - easily enough time to break in to a few bags. Even more so if a few flights landed at the same time and were using the same conveyor. The "Thief Row" comment previously could be made about other UK airports as well.
