MJ Refund Information - Ebay

Options
Hi,
Anyone who bought off ebay for the michael jackson concert!
-> you will get a refund only for the face value!

-> if you paid over this (so everyone), then contact the seller NOW!

-> If they do not reply or refuse to give a refund....contact paypal and launch an despute! (this normally has to be done 45 days after the same has ended)
-> if bought through Credit card...then contact credit card and ask for the difference to be refunded!

Basically its not looking good if you bought through ebay

I would think some of the sellers have spent the money and the money may simply have gone. There may be some honest non-tout types though, but not many.

I have sold tickets to a show that was cancelled, and did refund the full amount paid. However I agree that their are likely to be some sellers that will just disappear and try not to give anything above cost price back (or anything at all).

It is sad that people could contemplate profiting from this situation.
    Gone ... or have I?

if bought through paypal, they can force the refund from the bank details!
this is assuming that ebay demand everyone to refund!

    -> touts are "Bad"

If Ebay decide that the outcome is full value refund then the outcome will be a full refund never the less!

If enough people pester ebay then it might happen

If the sellers have the cash or not, paypal will refund the amounts & maybe leave the sellers accounts in a -£XXX.XX balance.

Leading to letters, non-payment, then bailifs.

I highly suspect this will be the case I can't see anyone being happy with the prospect of losing out, after all the sellers don#t lose out as they get a full refund from ticketmaster!!

But sellers would lose the eBay fees they incurred from the transaction, which are substantial on high price items...
