"This means the transaction data for the previous month will be incomplete when the monthly report is prepared. The missing data is included as it becomes available."
if previous month = april for the monthly report in may, this means that the LR may figures should tally with haliwide's march figures, no?plus ça change........0 -
Do you not understand how these things work
Feel free to tell me if I'm incorrect.
We have had March and Aprils figures. These are Mays.
If the LR were four months behind, they would now be reporting April's figures based on Feb.
Plus, all over this board, people are saying they are 3 months behind, so wait for the rises. Now, when they haven't risen, suddenly they are four months behind, wait for the rises.
So no, quite frankly, I don't get how these things work. I thought I did, but it's all just changed again.0 -

That's what I kind of figured out when I said 3 months and looked at Halifax figures for March.0 -

they revise them as they get data in - it may be 0.2% for May but in July it may be 0.1% or 0.3% for those same May numbers.
question - if you don't know how they work why do use them in your posts?0 -
OH NO!!!!!!!! Looks like the bubble in Merthyr Tydfil has burst.Merthyr Tydfil had the most significant monthly price fall during May with a movement of -6 per cent.plus ça change........0

It takes months to move from Haliwide approval to registered with the LR.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. Because I thought I knew how they worked, and I am here to learn.
My understanding is that they are always 3 months behind, based on this very board.
Now I'm being told they are four months behind, it seems, because the figures are still declining?
Can someone just tell me how many months they are behind!? I may not understand, but I'm asking for claification, not asking to just be told I dont understand.
I never said I did not understand them. I have just been TOLD I do not understand them, but not told why I'm wrong.
Everyone revises figures. But that's never been a reason to say they were 4 months behind, up until just now?
When the Merthy Tydvill stuff was being used to show increases, they were definately 3 months behind then!0 -

They are around 3 months behind the Haliwide who are in effect also 1 month behind themselves = 4 months. So the LR May figures refer broadly to Feb Haliwide transactions. That is how I understand it, I may of course be wrong.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. See that makes no sense.
It doesnt matter what they are behind the halifax. I want to know how many months they are behind on their own reporting.
I want to know why I am told I don't understand, when quite frankly, it looks like the goalposts have just been moved?
Wheres Generali0 -
