help sky question

We are thinking of getting sky, we have real problems with our signal despite a signal booster . So thinking of going to sky for tv internet and telephone.
However when i read the sky page it states you need a telephone line near the tv.
Our main telephone line is in a different room and we use wireless internet as well as wireless phones.
Will we still be able to get sky!
I do not want cables going through the house for aesthetic purposes.
Can anyone help as the sky on line help more or less says sign up and we will do our best however if best means telephone extension of about 30metres then no thanks.

Had sky for over ten years and never had the phone line connected.

Recently had Sky Plus installed and the phone line requirement was mentioned, I just ignored it.

The installer came out, installed the box, asked where the phone line was and was advised 30 feet away.

He simply used a long extension to connect it, did what he needed to set it up, then uplugged it. Still no phone connection exists.
  • You can pay sky £25 or £30 & it doesnt need to be connected to a TV.
