Personally, as a University student who has come home for the summer holidays, I still find cheques very useful. In particular, I send cheques through the post to my housemates for my share of any bills that arrive when I'm away. I feel safer sending cheques than cash.0

cheques used to be handy for me a few years back, i could go shopping 3 days before i got paid lol, infact i did it quite a lot:eek:0

No, I just come from a land with no titles.
And I don't understand titles on cheque books etc. - you don't sign them. Well, I doubt he signs "Sir Fred" anyway.
