can anyone help.. I have spend most of the day looking at maps and trying to see whats in walking distance... I have some tesco vouchers but the hitlon leeds is full and the one in bradford is a bit far.. sure it will not be easy to flag a taxi after the show... so was trying to locate a hotel in walking distance.. anyone any suggestions please.

I don't think there are any hotels close to Roundhay Park to be honest.

I have had a look on the internet as there are lots of really large houses on Street Lane and I know some are converted into small family run hotels.

Found Rydal Bank Hotel which is 20 Street Lane (about 5 mins walk from Roundhay Park) email rydalbankhotel@aol.com. Dont know the hotel personally but grew up about a mile from Roundhay Park so I know its really close.

If you want a large chain there is the Ramada , Leeds 14 which would take about 30 minutes to walk from the Park - 5 minutes normally in a taxi but not when there is a concert! Takes hours to clear the roads!
