BTCellnet SIM-need to change phone but keep deal

I have an old BTCellnet SIM in a Phillips Savvy.
The battery has packed up but I can't get the SIM to work in a new phone - unlocked or not. It won't even work in another BT Phillips Savvy.
My PAYG deal is 500 mins to Best Friend number for £15 top-up every 60 days, which I want to keep.
Can anyone help me keep the deal but replace the handset?
Many thanks for your help.
M.
