Which CP are you thinking of going to? Not all the 1 bedroom accommodations have a cot, though you could possibly get round that by asking if they will allow you to take a travel cot. I just looked up some 1 bedroomed accommodations at a couple of CP and some say they have no baby furniture either. I'm guessing this is a highchair they are meaning. don't know if that would be an issue to you? I can't remember what if any other baby furniture they have. Also one of the accomodations said it couldn't accomodate a baby.

I haven't looked thru thoroughly so can't say that every 1 bed place at each CP would not be possible for you to go to, but thought I'd mention it so you can look into what will suit your family.

Presumably if the OP was to make a reservation for 2 adults and 1 infant in a 1 bedroom apartment then there would be a cot and high chair available. The issue is more whether checks would be made to ensure that the 'infant' was under 2 years, and it sounds like they won't.

If she's under 2 now (but will have turned 2 by the time you go) I'd chance it and plead ignorance if they find out - which it sounds like they're very unlikely to...
There is no such thing as a free lunch. Its only free because you've paid for it.

Noone can have everything they want and the sooner you learn that the better.

Thanks for all the replies. It is a one bed apartment at Whinfell we are looking at, and we have stayed there a few times before so are ok for high chair and cot. Thankyou for your advice though! Tried asking centreparcs when we were thinking of booking a few months ago, and they said we had to have a two bed lodge even though we didn't need it, for health and safety reasons (?) as a two year old required an adult bed! Sounds a bit of a con! We're going to try and get away with it as she is so close to cut off it seems ridiculous. It is very unclear on the website, and only mentions age not 'age on date of travel' so will try and get away with it. Will plead ignorance as suggested if we get caught out! Googled it and it seems loads of people do it. In fact a lot over-occupy which seems a lot more risky and hide kids under blankets at check in !!!!!! Don't think I'd have the nerve for that!!

good luck. I always used the same date eg 31 but changed the month when mny children needed 'flexible' ages.;)

rachel85- I was asking the OP to check on-line that she could take a baby into a 1 bedroomed place at her chosen resort BEFORE she rang up to make a reservation, because if no 1 bed places would take a baby that she wouldn't have to worry about the baby's age. Perhaps I didn't explain myself well. I am aware what the issue was about.

I went to centre parcs recently, and they had a sign stating don't put your children to bed in the travel cot when it's still in the store cupboard.

Honestly, why would anyone do that?! It doubled as a boiler room as well.

We laughed at that too, but the housekeeper said that someone had done it once and consequently H&S stated that they had to remind people that this shouldn't be done :rotfl:
