I have it in a letter from nortons that calls were not recorded in 2004 !
So what will first plus send ?
If no recordings what did nortons use in 2004 they even gave me the date of the call ?0 -
i have the same problem with cap 1.reckon when i request sar they not gonna include it cos it was 9yrs ago........but got letter from em stating date.we shall see0

Hi Holly,
firstly do not worry a 2004 loan will be looked at by the FOS.
Basically you are geting the run around which is the standard response when you have a broker and lender.
If Norton have washed their hands good , then you only have FP to concentrate on.
When you get in touch{by letter} not calls, to FP. Tellthem in no uncertain terms that they have not complied with your SAR, and give them 7 or 10 days to finally comply or you will report their Data Proceesing Officer to the ICO.
They have one and it is his ultimate responsibility to comply.
In the same letter demand that they now uphold your complaint about the PPI,as they have no calls to back up their claim that it was not missold {remember they have to disprove your claim,not the other way round}
Point out that you will not be fobbed off, you are here for full recompense , even if that entails court action, which will be upheld, and they know it .
Let them know your very very serious , and out bluff them.
It may take a few more letters ,before you get a final response and have to go to the FOS .
