Hi SuperJ - would be good, except that'd add £10 to my expenditure, which I'm so desperate to cut... I am now being more careful by monitoring my T-mobile usage (online) and will try and use the free site recomended in an earlier post.

Thanks all - these will definately cut my costs - however the https://www.finetastic.com site seems to have a massive 'agreement' you must accept before proceeding and this put me off a bit. https://www.sendsmsnow.com looks great for international texts.
