Whats my rights?

I bought a Tesco pay as you go mobile LG Viewty January. Nice phone but locked to Tesco. I wanted to unlock it and asked Tesco. They said I could but they only supply the unlock code after 3 months and as long as £25 has been spent on the phone. I have done both of these requests.
I emailed them for the code and 2 months later and after numerous emails they have supplied the unlock codes. Having followed there unlock instructions exactley the phone is now locked to all networks including Tesco. Phone only gives option of emergency 999 calls. I am now 5 months and lots n lots of emails into the process of trying to sort this.:mad:
I have emailed numerous times and have had nor reply from Tesco.
Whats my rights? Do I have a right to a new replacement phone? How do I get a response?
Anyone been in a similar / same situation?
Please help !
