    One other tip that works for me - I take the Beechams Flu Max (or the hot choc/brandy!) before I go to bed. I go to bed fully clothed, ie. leggings, jumper and socks,and 'sweat' it out! Although I still have the cold the next morning, the headache, aching limbs and general ill feeling have gone. I guess it works on the same principle as the curry in the post further up!. ;D

    Eureka!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 ::)

    I have found a temporary cure for the common cold and lurgy. A night on the town with friends, plenty of local ale, and a big box of fried chicken. I forgot about the cold for several hours.
    I still have it though, back to the traditional methods...where's the lemsip?
