For some reason some of the end date posts do get put in the wrong place, but its only the odd one. (as they are sort of in alphabetical order, there is maybe an extra space in the title of the ones that go out of order) I have found that button to be a great help. The most difficult thing about using it is finding the date you want, especially if its in the middle of the month, but that is only the same as using the thread title method - at least using the new button you can quickly find your way back to where you were.

Going by the results of that button there are 2 x comps ending in July then PAGES and PAGES that end on 31/12 and NOTHING in between!!! It don't work for me

try going to the last page, then clicking on a few back. I can't tell you which page, as I don't know how many postings you have on a page. My last page is 212, and then I go back about 10 pages a day, for example ending 04/07 is on page 201 for me today (page number varies as more comps are added in between). Hope this helps.
Before you close the page number, take a note of the actual page you are on. It makes it easier to go back to where you were the next time you log in.
Sometimes you need to press the End Date button twice for a start, as it doesn't always show all the pages.
