As a thank you for all the useful feedback that was given for the Competitons Guide we've been having a look at ways we can help the forum.
The most important we came up with was to add a button at the top that instantly lets you sort by End Date. We're working on it and it should be with you very soon (within a week or so fingers crossed)
Then at a later date, we may be able to put the end date as a seperate entry field when you post so its automated.
