Thinking of buying an LG lcd tv Which is HD ready but noticed in tec info that to be able to receive hd broadcasts you will need a seperate reciever. is this true and does anyone know how much they are likely to cost. Any info welcolme Thanks....

Hi,

On a related question, I am considering buying a Sony LCD telly, HD ready with integrated Freeview. The Digital reception through my current arial is poor, but the analog is acceptable. Will the TV be able to 'realise' that the digital reception is poor, and accept the analogue?
