Anyone with Nidram

Hi
Going to change my isp, and I was wondering what Nidram are like, I know they have just been taken over by Pippex, so I was wondering if this has made any difference; ie speed, reliability, customer support etc.

Any good or not so good views appreciated.

Don't use Nildram myself, but they used to be one of the best rated ISP's along with Zen for Customer Support, speed, reliability, etc.

I doubt that the recent takeover will have effected anything as yet. Only time will tell for that.

I used them for several years, dialup. It was very reliable and I had no major problems. Then they messed me around when I tried to change over to broadband so I dumped them for Freedom2Surf.

We use Nildram at work, but I don't rate the support. Rather unhelpful really when there was a problem.

Nildram was taken over by Pipex some time ago. Didn't notice any change after that. Of course Freedom 2 Surf has also (more recently) joined the Pipex empire. Been with F2S for around 20 months. Found the service with F2S very reliable. Speeds good and customer service great. But then again rarely had to contact them. Had one billing problem, which was really my fault, but they sorted it all out very quickly anyway.

I'm actually migrating away from f2s, found them to be pretty bad, slow speed, very unreliable, and their customer support is terrible, raised tickets and never had one reply.
So I'm not very happy with them, but luckily I'm only on 1mth contract, so away I go.
I'm just looking for a good provider now, with 1mth contract.
There is a new isp that everybodys talking about on the f2s forum, its Evolutiondsl, but it seems pretty new, so not sure, but looks very competitive.
