Just thought I'd give you an update. I wrote and asked for the fine and penalty points to be reconsidered and got a nice letter back saying that they would not proceed with it this time and to take the letter as a warning to be careful in future when displaying L plates. Son has now passed test but the R plates will be up for a year. I don't think I'll forget to take them down though. I feel quite lucky.Member #7 SKI-ers Club
