NTL - Get a discount!

We've got 3 for 30 deal with NTL - no intention of changing - too much hassle. However....
Inspired by the posts on this website, phoned 'em and said we're leaving - going Freeview, mobile phones and Bulldog internet. Got through to a lovely lady in Cust Serv. Offered loads of deals including ditch the tv/phones but keep BB - free upgrade to 10MB with a new modem - pay £17/m!
In the end asked what they could do if i stayed with the current package - offered 3 for £30 with an £8.95/month discount - so now 3 for £21!
Go on - give it a try - if they call your bluff you can always say - let me think about it....
